Private Client Tax Director – Independent Firm, London c.£100,000 - £120,000

Time to step away from the crowd? Play a strategic role in the management and delivery of Private Client Tax services at one of London’s leading independent accountancy firms.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Personal Tax, overseeing a team of experienced ATTs and CTAs. Manage their workload and technical development, as well as assisting with complex tax compliance issues. Day to day you’ll also perform a client-facing advisory role, providing income and capital taxes planning advice to a high-quality portfolio of new and old money HNWIs. Personal Tax Director - Leading London Team, To c.£130k + Bonus

Work closely with industry-leading Partners, in an advisory-focused, client-facing role. 

Our client is a high profile, award-winning Private Client Tax practice, based in the heart of London. They are growing and also undertaking Partner succession-planning. In particular, they are keen to recruit a talented Personal Tax Director, to play a strategic role in the provision of income and capital taxes planning advice.

The client base includes serial entrepreneurs, international families, business owners, family offices and trusts. Many of the clients are UK res non dom, with multi-jurisdictional aspects to their affairs. 

In addition to undertaking personal tax planning projects, the Director will oversee a team of experienced advisers, manage client relationships and play a role in developing new business.

The successful candidate will be CTA qualified with extensive UK personal tax experience, particularly relating to UK res non doms. They will have experience of networking and building third-party relationships, and possess strong client relationship management skills. 

The role would suit an existing Director looking for a new challenge (and potential pathway to Partnership), or alternatively an accomplished Associate Director looking to progress their career in a genuinely meritocratic environment.

This is a collegiate and supportive firm, with a strong track record of developing its staff towards Partnership. They offer hybrid working 2-3 days a week and a highly competitive remuneration package. Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region c.£100k - £135k + bonus + benefits.

Director / Partner Designate, Personal Tax - London To £135k + Bens

Personal Tax Assistant Manager / Manager - Bristol £45k-£55k

Our client maintains a high profile in the Private Client field and acts for an enviable client list of HNW and UHNW individuals. They are growing their team in Bristol and are keen to appoint an additional personal tax adviser at Assistant Manager or Manager grade.

With the support of experienced Directors and Partners, the incoming individual will take responsibility for a portfolio of private clients, managing key relationships and handling their annual personal tax compliance. Scope also exists to assist with ad hoc capital taxes planning.

Very much a client-facing role, the individual will require excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with demonstrable experience of advising HNWIs on income tax, CGT and IHT. Some knowledge of trusts would be helpful and experience of advising UK resident non domiciles on residence, remittance and the SRT, would be useful.
