Personal Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director - London

Are you looking for an advisory-focused role offering a supported route to Director grade?

Our client is one of London's premier Private Client Tax teams. They advise UHNWIs on all areas of their income and capital taxes planning, with particular expertise in advising UK res non doms. 

The team is busy, growing and keen to recruit a CTA qualified Senior Manager or Associate Director. You will provide ad hoc personal tax planning and asset structuring advice to new-money entrepreneurs, business owners and wealthy families, many with multi jurisdictional aspects to their affairs. 

They'll help you to develop your technical and non-technical skills, whilst working closely with some of the profession's leading private client tax practitioners. The team is multi award-winning and offers genuine scope to progress to partnership.

The firm has fully adopted hybrid and flexible working practices, so there is scope to work from home 2-3 days a week, if one wishes. 

Salary will be dependent on experience and grade but is likely to be in the region £80k-£100k.

Personal Tax Associate Director / Director - Cheltenham

This is a super opportunity for a CTA personal tax professional to play a key role in one of Cheltenham's leading Private Client teams. 

Our client has built a strong reputation in the Personal Tax field, in particular advising landed wealth, entrepreneurs, business owners, farming & bloodstock clients and HNW families. Demand for their expertise continues to grow and they now seek an additional personal tax Associate Director or Director.

The incoming individual will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, undertaking ad hoc income tax, CGT and IHT planning work, as well as overseeing complex personal tax compliance. 

Working alongside high profile partners, it is a chance for a talented CTA to build a 'name' for themselves as one of the prominent private client advisers in the region. Genuine scope exists to progress towards Partnership with the firm.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of advising on capital taxation, succession of wealth and income tax issues affecting HNW landed/farming clients. They will be a confident client-facing adviser, who also enjoys building third-party relationships.

Our client is embracing agile/hybrid working and offers home working 2-3 days a week, if the individual wishes.  

Salary is likely to be in the region £75,000 - £90,000 p.a. + benefits, dependent on experience.

Director, Personal Tax (Partner Designate) - London c.£100k-£120k

We are working with one of London’s high quality independent accountancy firms, who are undertaking a partner succession-planning exercise. They are keen to appoint a CTA Personal Tax Director, whom they can support with progression to partnership, as one of their existing private client tax partners retires.

The role involves providing client-facing tax advisory services to HNW entrepreneurs, business owners and their families, as well as assisting with the management and direction of the private client tax team. The incoming Director will also work with the partners on business development and networking initiatives, to ensure the service line continues to maintain its high profile.

This is a great opportunity for a personal tax director or associate director to position themselves for partnership. They will join a friendly and supportive firm, that genuinely values work/life balance. They offer homeworking a couple of days a week and a salary (dependent on experience) in the region £110k-£120k plus benefits.

The successful candidate will be CTA qualified with demonstrable experience of advising HNW private clients (UK and international), on all areas of their income and capital taxation. This could include shareholder planning, extraction of wealth, residence advice and advising on property-related issues. 

The individual also needs to be commercially-minded. They will be an experienced networker and business developer, able to identifying potential new opportunities both internally and externally.

Personal Tax Senior Manager / Associate Director - Tunbridge Wells

Our client offers high quality, new-money entrepreneurial Private Client Tax work without the commute into London.

You’ll join an established and high-profile team, advising regional, London and international wealth. The client base includes PE executives, HNW business owners, serial entrepreneurs and wealthy families. The team undertakes  income and capital taxes planning, shareholder planning, exit strategies for business owners, property-related advice, residence/domicile issues and succession planning.

The team is busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional CTA at Senior Manager or Associate Director level. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of HNW/UHNW individuals and their families, as their key trusted adviser. This will predominantly involve identifying and advising on ad hoc personal tax planning projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced partners and to build a name for yourself in the region. There is also scope to work with partners and directors on networking and business development initiatives. 

The role would suit an experienced London Manager or Senior Manager looking to pursue their Private Client Tax career outside the Capital. Alternatively, a CTA from a strong regional practice locally. Either way, support will be provided with progression towards AD and Director grades. Some PE-related personal tax experience would be helpful, but is not essential. Strong previous experience of income and capital taxes planning for HNWIs is important.

Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region £75k-£90k + bens.

Associate Director, Private Client Tax - London £95k - £105k

They are keen to find a CTA qualified personal tax adviser who is ready to take on an Associate Director role. The aim is to support that individual with progression to Director and ultimately partnership.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of the income and capital taxes planning issues facing wealthy individuals and their families. This will include extensive experience of advising on domicile, residence, remittance and offshore trust structures. The position is very much client-facing, requiring excellent relationship management skills. An interest in assisting the partners with networking and business development initiatives would also be desirable.

You’ll be supported by high profile Partners and an experienced team of personal tax ATTs and CTAs. Team management will form another key element of the role.
