Trust & Tax Manager - Leading London Firm £63k-£73k

An opportunity to join the award-winning Private Client team of a high-profile accountancy firm.

Our client is recognised as one of London’s premier providers of private client tax and trusts advice to domestic and international UHNWIs. Their Trusts team is growing and is keen to appoint an additional Tax & Trusts adviser at Manager level.

The role will involve taking responsibility for a portfolio of offshore and onshore trusts, acting as their primary point of contact. You will work closely with Directors and Partners on ad hoc trust structuring, IHT planning, estate/succession advice, establishment and winding up of trusts. 

In addition, you will oversee the preparation and review of trust accounts and trust returns by junior staff.

The successful candidate is likely to be STEP qualified (potentially also CTA) and will certainly have demonstrable experience of advising on trust taxation, IHT and estate planning. We are working on a new opportunity based in the award-winning Private Client Tax team of a high-profile accountancy practice.

Working alongside some of the profession’s leading personal tax and trusts advisers, you’ll advise UK and international UHNW individuals and families on inheritance tax, succession planning and the use of on and offshore trust structures. As a key member of the broader Private Wealth team, the role requires:

  • Experience of leading IHT and estate planning projects relating to multi-generational families
  • The ability to act as one of the Private Client team’s ‘go to’ advisers on IHT-related matters

Personal Tax Manager - Advisory Focus, London To £73k + Bens

Tax Investigations Assistant Manager - London £53k-£63k

Tax Technical Manager / Senior Manager - London £60k-£90k

Requisite & Expertise:

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • An interest in how technology can support knowledge management and improve information sharing, including creating user-friendly experiences for client-facing staff.

You’ll work closely with some of the profession’s leading Partners and be supported with your own progression towards Director and Partner grades.

You’ll need to have a strong technical grasp of US and UK personal taxation, gained in a leading UK tax team. Demonstrable UK experience of advising US HNWIs on their personal tax position is essential.
