Tax Investigations Assistant Manager - London £53k-£63k

A fantastic opportunity to join a high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution team. 

Our client is a high-profile London accountancy firm that has built a strong reputation in the Tax field. Their Tax Investigations offering is core to the Private Client department's success and is widely recognised across the profession. Demand for their expertise continues to increase and the team is now keen to appoint an additional adviser at Assistant Manager level. 

Working closely with leading tax investigations specialists, you will support a range of clients with their representations to HMRC. This will include managing a varied portfolio of tax investigation, tax dispute and tax disclosure cases including agreeing strategies and fee structures. You will draft reports and disclosures to HMRC and robustly defend your clients’ positions.

All of this will require some previous experience of tax investigation work, including HMRC enquiries, making disclosures and penalty mitigation. This could have been gained in a pure tax dispute resolution role, but the position would also suit a personal tax adviser with enquiries/investigations experience looking to specialise in tax investigations work.

This is a super opportunity to manage a portfolio of HNW US-connected private clients, as their key trusted adviser.

Our client has built a reputation as a leading adviser to HNW/UHNW individuals. Their Private Client Tax offering includes a specialist US/UK team that provides personal tax advice to wealthy private clients (business owners, entrepreneurs and their families). 

Demand for their expertise continues to grow and they are keen to recruit an EA/ATT dual-qualified Manager or Senior Manager, to provide personal tax advisory and compliance services as a strategic member of the team.

You’ll work closely with some of the profession’s leading Partners and be supported with your own progression towards Director and Partner grades.

You’ll need to have a strong technical grasp of US and UK personal taxation, gained in a leading UK tax team. Demonstrable UK experience of advising US HNWIs on their personal tax position is essential. 

You’ll also have gained the EA and ATT qualifications. The CTA would be a bonus but is not essential. The role requires excellent client relationship management skills, as well as a commercial approach to WIP, recoverability and identifying new business opportunities.

Personal Tax Manager - London, City To £73k + Bens

We are working closely with a high quality Private Client team, that advises an impressive HNW UK and international client base. They are busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional Trusts & Tax adviser at Senior Manager level. 

The incoming individual will work closely with highly experienced directors and partners, providing holistic tax and trusts planning advice.
