Personal Tax Manager - Bristol

Our client maintains a high profile in the Private Client field and acts for an enviable client list of HNW and UHNW individuals. They are growing their team in Bristol and are keen to appoint an additional personal tax adviser at Manager grade.

With the support of experienced Directors and Partners, the incoming individuals will take responsibility for a portfolio of private clients, managing key relationships and handling their annual personal tax compliance. They will also assist with ad hoc capital taxes planning.

Very much client-facing roles, the individuals will require excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with demonstrable experience of advising HNWIs on income tax, CGT and IHT. Some knowledge of trusts would be helpful and experience of advising UK resident non domiciles on residence, remittance and the SRT, would be useful.

Trust & Tax Manager - Leading London Firm £63k-£73k

An opportunity to join the award-winning Private Client team of a high-profile accountancy firm.

Our client is recognised as one of London’s premier providers of private client tax and trusts advice to domestic and international UHNWIs. Their Trusts team is growing and is keen to appoint an additional Tax & Trusts adviser at Manager level.

One of the region’s leading accountancy firms is keen to recruit a CTA private client tax Manager or Senior Manager into their respected and growing Private Client Tax team. Working closely with the partners, you’ll oversee a portfolio of HNW individuals including business owners, serial entrepreneurs, trusts and wealthy families.

Personal Tax Manager - Advisory Focus, London To £73k + Bens

Join a respected private client tax team, specializing in advising UK and international HNWIs on all areas of their income and capital taxation. You’ll be an integral member of the team, performing an advisory-focused, client-facing role. You'll collaborate closely with well-known partners and liaising directly with third parties.

Your clients will include:

  • HNW business owners
  • Serial entrepreneurs
  • Wealthy families
  • Family offices

Many of the team’s clients are international with multi-jurisdictional aspects to their affairs. Experience of advising on remittance, domicile and residence is therefore important.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing a portfolio of HNW clients as their key point of contact

- Undertaking personal tax planning projects on areas including CGT, IHT, property-related issues, use of trust structures, extraction of wealth from businesses etc

- Mentoring, managing and supporting junior team members

Private Client Tax Manager - Tunbridge Wells

You’ll join an established and high-profile team, advising regional, London and international wealth. The client base includes PE executives, HNW business owners, serial entrepreneurs and wealthy families. The team undertakes  income and capital taxes planning, shareholder planning, exit strategies for business owners, property-related advice, residence/domicile issues and succession planning.

The team is busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional CTA at Manager level. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of HNW/UHNW individuals and their families, as their key trusted adviser. This will involve identifying and advising on ad hoc personal tax planning projects, as well as overseeing complex compliance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced partners and to build a name for yourself in the region. Tax Technical Manager / Senior Manager - London £60k-£90k

The team acts not only as a technical resource but ensures that the right systems are in place to share knowledge effectively, uphold best practices, and enhance the firm's reputation within the tax profession.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating tax-related content for internal and external audiences, including technical bulletins, newsletters, website content, email alerts, and press articles.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of internal tax training programs.

  • Developing templates, precedents, and checklists for use in client services.

Requisite & Expertise:

  • CTA qualified with a deep technical understanding of UK taxation, gained in either a client-facing or internal tax technical role.
  • Strong ability to quickly grasp complex tax developments and communicate them clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • An interest in how technology can support knowledge management and improve information sharing, including creating user-friendly experiences for client-facing staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences and subject matters.

This is a super opportunity to manage a portfolio of HNW US-connected private clients, as their key trusted adviser.

Our client has built a reputation as a leading adviser to HNW/UHNW individuals. Their Private Client Tax offering includes a specialist US/UK team that provides personal tax advice to wealthy private clients (business owners, entrepreneurs and their families). 

Demand for their expertise continues to grow and they are keen to recruit an EA/ATT dual-qualified Manager or Senior Manager, to provide personal tax advisory and compliance services as a strategic member of the team.

You’ll work closely with some of the profession’s leading Partners and be supported with your own progression towards Director and Partner grades.

You’ll need to have a strong technical grasp of US and UK personal taxation, gained in a leading UK tax team. Demonstrable UK experience of advising US HNWIs on their personal tax position is essential.
