Personal Tax Assistant Manager - Cambridge

We are keen to speak to CTA qualified personal tax Seniors and Assistant Managers, who may be interested in a new opportunity in Cambridge.

As a key member of a high-profile Private Client Tax team, you’ll manage a portfolio of HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, prominent academics and landed wealth. You'll also have the opportunity to assist with ad hoc personal tax planning projects. This is very much a client-facing role, offering the chance to act as a true trusted adviser.

You’ll work closely with respected Partners, developing your technical, managerial and business development experience in what is a friendly and supportive environment. 

The incoming individual will have a strong technical grasp of income tax, CGT and IHT (including the use of trusts), with experience of advising new-money HNWIs. 

The firm has adopted hybrid working and flexible hours, with homeworking possible 2-3 days a week. Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the range £45k-£55k.

This is a super opportunity for a personal tax CTA to develop their career with a respected firm, offering genuine scope for progression to Manager and Senior Manager grades. Ref 5188

Trusts & Tax Senior Manager - Cambridge £65k-£80k DOE

Join the high-profile Private Client team of one of the region's leading accountancy firms.

Demand for their Trusts expertise continues to grow and they are now keen to appoint a Senior Manager to perform very much a client-facing role.

The incoming individual will work closely with a highly experienced Trusts & Tax Director, advising HNW clients on trust accounting, trust taxation, administration and ad hoc trust planning issues. 

Very much a client and third-party facing role, the incoming adviser will require excellent communication and relationship management skills, as well as excellent trusts and personal tax knowledge.

Ideally the adviser will need to be STEP and/or CTA qualified, but will certainly have extensive experience of advising trust, estate and charity clients.

This is a supportive and collegiate environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge alongside leading tax and trusts professionals. 

Based in either Cambridge or Ipswich, the team believes in a healthy work/life balance and has also adopted hybrid working 2-3 days a week. Ref 686
