Private Client Tax Directors – Big 4 London or Manchester - Route to Partnership - Agile / Flexible working

I am keen to speak to experienced CTA qualified private client tax professionals at Senior Manager and Director level, who may be interested in exploring Director opportunities with the Big 4.

It is hoped that the successful candidates will progress to partnership within a short time-frame (2-3 years, dependent on experience).

As part of our client’s ongoing growth plans within their Private Client practice,  I have been exclusively retained to find two Directors. One to be based in London and the other in Manchester. The firm offers flexible and agile working arrangements with perhaps 2-3 days each week in the office and the balance from home or one of their other regional offices. The roles would therefore suit someone looking to reduce their weekly commute, or even relocate, without compromising on quality of work.

The London Director will need to be an accomplished UK res non dom planning adviser. They will have extensive experience of advising UHNW international families on all areas of their income and capital taxation, structuring, property purchases etc.

The Manchester Director will provide client-facing personal tax planning services to HNW entrepreneurs, shareholders and business owners. Strong tax technical knowledge in these areas is essential.

It is likely that both individuals will come from leading Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firms and be seeking greater flexibility with their working arrangements and/or a clearer route to partnership.

Plenty of work awaits the incoming individuals, however, they will also require demonstrable experience of networking and business development as these will be key elements for progression to partnership.

Our client is happy to chat with potentially interested parties on an exploratory basis initially. If you would like to find out more about these new opportunities, please email me at
